Discussion Starter · #1 · Apr 17, 2011. any one have a stripped 400ex spark plug hole and how would i fix it?i drained the oil and there were lots of small metal shavings on the filter not in the oil that i saw.im kinda concerned this plug hole is a S.O.B to get to so any info on this would be nice thanks :icon_ rasta: Web9. apr 2009 · As to whether it's stripped, due to the deep well that the plug goes into it's hard to get in there and feel the sides of the plug hole perhaps you can get a small mirror down there to see. Does it feel like the plug's going all the way into a smooth hole or are the threads just not catching?
