WebNov 2, 2004 · i have the k&n filter that is for the 2002-3 wrx's, and it is a TIGHT fit...... the BEST way to get this to fit correctly (IMO) is to pull out the airbox completely (two 12mm bolts, and some hoseclamps/tubes to be moved).... this will allow you to get the lid to align properly, and to get the 'feet' to lock into the base 100% too.....
