WebDec 9, 2024 · I was wondering what's the best way to stream a video file (mpg4/avi - or any other format) in Go. Possibly, I'd like to be able to play it using a simple tag. I've tried playing the famous Big Buck Bunny file with this code: The way to do streaming JSON parsing is with a Decoder: json.NewDecoder (resp.Body).Decode (&yourStuff) For a streaming API where it's a bunch of objects coming back (a la Twitter), that should stream great with this model and the built-in encoding/json API.
